Overview

The 3 kW bundle is a complete system: panels, inverter, mounting frame and wiring materials costed as one set, rather than buying each part separately and matching them yourself.

The system uses 5 Mono 630W panels and needs roughly 18 – 21 m² of sun-facing roof.

Estimated output is 340 – 400 kWh a month, worth around 920.000 VND off the electricity bill, paying back in 5 – 6 years. The figure shifts with roof orientation, tilt and how sunny your region is, so only an on-site survey gives the number for your own roof.

Asia Energy quotes three ways: OEM manufacturing under your own brand, a distribution franchise, or retail with full installation. Free roof survey within 48 hours, warehouses in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City, nationwide delivery.

FAQ

Questions buyers ask about the 3 kW package

What is included in the 3 kW package?

5 Mono 630W panels, the inverter, the aluminium mounting frame, DC and AC distribution boards, the dedicated cabling and all ancillary materials — the full list is in the table above. The package price covers the roof survey, installation by Asia Energy's own crew rather than a subcontractor, and the handover documentation.

How much roof does the 3 kW package need?

About 18 – 21 m² of clear roof. That covers the 5 panels plus gaps and a maintenance walkway. If no single area is big enough the array can be split into two or three groups, as long as they face the same way — different orientations call for an inverter with several MPPT trackers. The free 48-hour survey produces an actual layout drawing.

How much power does the 3 kW package produce each month?

Roughly 340 – 400 kWh a month, worth about 920.000 VND off the electricity bill. The figure swings with the season: sunny months beat the upper end, a long rainy spell falls below the lower. What you save also depends on your tariff band — a household already in a high band saves more per self-generated kWh.

How long until it pays for itself?

About 5 – 6 năm, working from the 920.000 VND monthly saving above and the all-in cost of 26 triệu – 30 triệu. After payback the power is free for the rest of the system's life — the panels carry a 25-year performance warranty. If electricity prices rise, the payback period shortens.

Do I need to add a storage battery?

Not compulsory. Without a battery you run on solar by day and draw from the grid at night as usual — cheaper, and it pays back sooner. Adding storage brings the all-in cost to 35 triệu – 40 triệu, and in return you keep power during an outage and can use the daytime surplus. Where cuts are frequent, that difference earns its keep.

What kind of household is the 3 kW package for?

A household of 2 – 3. The most compact option. Without a storage battery you still draw from the grid at night. The surest check is your last few electricity bills: compare your average monthly kWh against the 340 – 400 kWh this package produces. The system should cover most of what you use during daylight hours; it does not need to cover the whole month.
