Overview

The GP-100KTLC-Pro is a three-phase grid-tie inverter rated 100 kW, output 400 V. It converts panel power straight into the building's circuits: you draw what you need and the surplus goes to the grid. With no battery there is nothing to replace years later, but the system also stops during a grid outage, as safety rules require.

The maximum PV input of 150 kW is the total panel capacity you may connect — about 238 panels of 630 W, or 1,5 times the inverter's own rating. Oversizing like this is normal and advisable: panels only reach their nameplate figure in the brightest sun, and fall well short in early morning, late afternoon and cloudy weather. An array larger than the inverter keeps it near design output for more hours of the day.

It has 3 MPPTs, so the array can be split into 3 independent strings. On a roof with several faces, or with shade that moves through the day, each string tracks on its own and a shaded side no longer drags the others down. This is worth weighing when choosing for an awkward roof.

The PV voltage range 200 – 1.000 V is the window in which the inverter can track power. The number of panels in series must be worked out so the string voltage stays inside it both on a cold morning — when open-circuit voltage is highest — and at hot midday, when it sags. Leave this to an engineer: exceeding the upper limit can damage the unit.

Protection rating IP66, weight 92 kg. That rating is fully dust-tight and withstands powerful water jets, so it can be wall-mounted outdoors. Even with a weatherproof case, hang it in shade or add a small canopy: in direct midday sun the unit heats up and derates itself to protect its components — losing output exactly when the sun is strongest.

FAQ

Questions buyers ask about the GP-100KTLC-Pro

How many panels can the GP-100KTLC-Pro take?

Maximum PV input is 150.000 W. Divided by a 630 W Mono panel that is roughly 238 panels — 1,5 times the unit's 100 kW rating. That headroom is intentional: panels rarely reach their nameplate output, so oversizing brings the inverter up to full power earlier in the morning and holds it later into the afternoon. The real count also depends on roof orientation and the 200 – 1.000 V voltage window, so the strings need working out before you commit.

What system size is the GP-100KTLC-Pro for?

The unit is rated 100 kW with a 400 V output. That size is for industrial projects, with several units in parallel. The number to work from is what the roof can produce, not the inverter rating: size the inverter against the total panel wattage you plan to install, then check it against the 150.000 W ceiling above.

Can a unit rated IP66 be installed outdoors?

Yes. IP66 means the unit is fully dust-tight and resistant to powerful water jets from any direction. Even so, avoid all-day direct sun: at high temperatures the inverter derates itself to protect its components, costing you output in exactly the brightest hours. A small canopy, or a north-facing wall, is enough.

What does 3 MPPT tracker(s) mean for my roof?

This unit has 3 MPPT trackers, so the array splits into 3 independent groups — a roof facing several ways still needs only one inverter. Each MPPT tracker finds the maximum power point for the group of panels wired to it. Two groups facing different directions, or at different tilts, sharing one tracker force it to pick a single compromise point, and neither group runs at its best. The same applies where a tree or a chimney shades part of the roof.

Is the GP-100KTLC-Pro a grid-tie or a hybrid inverter?

The GP-100KTLC-Pro belongs to the Dòng máy đơn 80 – 110 kW group. A grid-tie unit: what it makes is used on site and the surplus goes to the grid. If the grid goes down the inverter disconnects itself as the safety rules require, so without a battery there is no power.

What warranty does the GP-100KTLC-Pro carry, and does it come with CO · CQ paperwork?

Five-year warranty. Imported through official channels with full CO · CQ paperwork — which you will need for project handover and for the utility interconnection application. Ask for copies when you place the order, not at handover.
