Overview

The GP-10KTLD is a single-phase grid-tie inverter rated 10,0 kW, output 220 – 240 V. It converts panel power straight into the building's circuits: you draw what you need and the surplus goes to the grid. With no battery there is nothing to replace years later, but the system also stops during a grid outage, as safety rules require.

The maximum PV input of 15.000 W is the total panel capacity you may connect — about 24 panels of 630 W, or 1,5 times the inverter's own rating. Oversizing like this is normal and advisable: panels only reach their nameplate figure in the brightest sun, and fall well short in early morning, late afternoon and cloudy weather. An array larger than the inverter keeps it near design output for more hours of the day.

It has a single MPPT, so the whole array runs on one tracking circuit. That suits a roof with a single orientation. On a roof split across several faces, one MPPT means the shaded side drags the whole array down.

The PV voltage range 80 – 550 V is the window in which the inverter can track power. The number of panels in series must be worked out so the string voltage stays inside it both on a cold morning — when open-circuit voltage is highest — and at hot midday, when it sags. Leave this to an engineer: exceeding the upper limit can damage the unit.

Protection rating IP66, weight 11 kg. That rating is fully dust-tight and withstands powerful water jets, so it can be wall-mounted outdoors. Even with a weatherproof case, hang it in shade or add a small canopy: in direct midday sun the unit heats up and derates itself to protect its components — losing output exactly when the sun is strongest.

Imported through official channels with full CO · CQ paperwork, 5 years warranty. Asia Energy quotes three ways: OEM manufacturing under your own brand, a distribution franchise, or retail with full installation. Warehouses in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City, nationwide delivery.

FAQ

Questions buyers ask about the GP-10KTLD

How many panels can the GP-10KTLD take?

Maximum PV input is 15.000 W. Divided by a 630 W Mono panel that is roughly 23 panels — 1,5 times the unit's 10,0 kW rating. That headroom is intentional: panels rarely reach their nameplate output, so oversizing brings the inverter up to full power earlier in the morning and holds it later into the afternoon. The real count also depends on roof orientation and the 80 – 550 V voltage window, so the strings need working out before you commit.

What system size is the GP-10KTLD for?

The unit is rated 10,0 kW with a 220 – 240 V output. That size suits a large townhouse, a shop or a small workshop. The number to work from is what the roof can produce, not the inverter rating: size the inverter against the total panel wattage you plan to install, then check it against the 15.000 W ceiling above.

Can a unit rated IP66 be installed outdoors?

Yes. IP66 means the unit is fully dust-tight and resistant to powerful water jets from any direction. Even so, avoid all-day direct sun: at high temperatures the inverter derates itself to protect its components, costing you output in exactly the brightest hours. A small canopy, or a north-facing wall, is enough.

What does 1 MPPT tracker(s) mean for my roof?

This unit has a single MPPT tracker, so the whole array must share one orientation and one tilt. Each MPPT tracker finds the maximum power point for the group of panels wired to it. Two groups facing different directions, or at different tilts, sharing one tracker force it to pick a single compromise point, and neither group runs at its best. The same applies where a tree or a chimney shades part of the roof.

Is the GP-10KTLD a grid-tie or a hybrid inverter?

The GP-10KTLD belongs to the Hòa lưới · một pha group. A grid-tie unit: what it makes is used on site and the surplus goes to the grid. If the grid goes down the inverter disconnects itself as the safety rules require, so without a battery there is no power.

What warranty does the GP-10KTLD carry, and does it come with CO · CQ paperwork?

Five-year warranty. Imported through official channels with full CO · CQ paperwork — which you will need for project handover and for the utility interconnection application. Ask for copies when you place the order, not at handover.
